Ingredients
- 2 lb Grass Run Farms New York Strip
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 1 Tbsp garlic, minced
- 8 oz low sodium beef broth
- ½ cup low sodium soy sauce
- ¼ cup brown sugar
Directions
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Slice steak into ½ inch strips.
- In a small bowl, toss the steak strips and cornstarch together until the steak is fully coated.
- Place the meat into the warmed skillet and brown on both sides until meat reaches an internal temperature of 145°F. Remove meat once it is done cooking.
- Add the broccoli florets, minced garlic, and beef broth to the same skillet. Cover the pan, cook over low heat, and steam for 10 minutes or until the broccoli is slightly tender.
- While the broccoli is steaming, whisk the soy sauce, brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch together in a small bowl.
- Add the soy sauce mixture and the cooked steak strips back to the pan with the broccoli. Stir until combined and simmer on low for 3 minutes or until the soy sauce thickens.
