Pulled pork is a classic Southern dish loved by many for its juicy and flavorful meat that practically melts in your mouth. This mouthwatering crockpot recipe uses our tender Pork Loin Roast, a versatile cut able to pair with any selection of sauces and seasonings.

 

Ingredients

  • 2-3 lbs Pork Loin Roast
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce of your choice
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Hamburger buns or sliders for serving
  • Toppings of your choice: Pickled red onions, coleslaw, lettuce, jalapenos, pickles, hot sauce, etc.

 

Directions

  1. Trim excess fat from the pork loin and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper to create the sauce.
  3. Place the seasoned pork in the crockpot and pour the sauce over it, ensuring the meat is well coated.
  4. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 hours, until the pork is tender and easily pulls apart with a fork.
  5. Once cooked, remove the pork from the crockpot and shred it using two forks.
  6. Return the shredded pork to the crockpot and mix it with the remaining sauce.
  7. Allow the pork to soak in the sauce for an additional 30 minutes on low heat.
  8. Serve the delicious pulled pork on hamburger buns or sliders with the toppings of your choice and enjoy the savory and smoky flavors of this recipe.
