- Cook Time: 1 hr 5 mins
- Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins
- Servings: 8
INGREDIENTS
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 2 loves of garlic, minced
- 1 can of diced tomatoes, drained
- 2 tsp of Auntie Nono’s Everything Seasoning
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp fresh cracked black pepper
- 1 lb of Sakura American Wagyu Classic Ground Beef
- 1 jar of store-bought marinara sauce
- 1 box of pasta
INSTRUCTIONS
-
Brown the ground beef – In a pan over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until it is browned and cooked through. Add salt and pepper to taste. Once browned, drain the grease and return to the pan.
-
Add the veggies – In the same pan, add the onion, bell pepper, garlic, and Auntie Nono’s Everything Seasoning, sautéing until the vegetables are soft.
-
Add tomatoes and marinara – Stir in the diced tomatoes and marinara sauce and let simmer for one hour, stirring occasionally. (Note - if you're short on time, once the sauce is brought to a simmer you can serve immediately. The extra simmering time allows for all the flavors to blend, but if you're in a bind for time don't fret!)
-
Prepare noodles – While the marinara sauce is simmering, prepare your desired noodles.
- Plate and serve – Serve pasta by placing noodles on a plate and top with marinara. Enjoy!
